About
We started Custodis because AI companies and their investors are making long, expensive infrastructure commitments with less evidence than any other major cost decision. AIIC exists to help investors and the startups they back make better technical and commercial choices, based on facts.
Founder, Custodis · London
I build commercial engines — and I’ve spent my career watching infrastructure decisions make or break them.
For more than two decades I’ve built the commercial side of technology companies across EMEA: at Nortel and Cisco, selling network infrastructure to operators such as Orange and Vodafone; then helping startups and scale-ups find product-market fit, open new markets and build partner ecosystems, most recently in cybersecurity at DuoKey, where data sovereignty was at the heart of every conversation.
Across AI, cloud, security and telecoms, one pattern kept repeating: companies commit years of spend and months of roadmap to infrastructure decisions made on vendor pitches and incomplete evidence. The cost of getting it wrong lands on margin, growth and valuation.
I founded Custodis to fix that. AIIC gives founders and their investors what they rarely have when capital is committed: an independent, evidence-backed view of what an AI workload needs, where it can run, and what the decision is worth.
